Welcome to Your Pilot Guide. I have been in the profession for the last seven years and in the industry for the last 12 years.
On one of my off days, I got thinking about how clueless I was 12 years back, when I had decided to become a pilot. Coming from a family background which was miles away from anything related to Aviation, I was like a deer caught in the headlights 😀
Slowly but surely, I kept researching the field, got help from some great guys and by the grace of God, I’m now established in the field.
At present, I fly the Boeing 737 NG and the brand new launched Boeing 737 MAX aircrafts. However in the past I’ve been rated on a couple of Cessna Training aircrafts, a Piper Seneca 6 seater aircraft and a LearJet 60 (LearJet is another story for another time).
Getting back to the topic, I get numerous queries from friends and relatives and extended family, asking me how to go about becoming a pilot, as someone or the other wants to do it.
So I thought, instead of just helping out people who know me by less than six degrees of separation 😉
I thought I’ll start this blog to help out anyone looking for guidance about how to join the field.
I’ll keep updating the blog as fast as I can, with as updated information as I can get.
As of now, this blog is a work in progress. Make sure you save the blog address, subscribe for new posts and keep sharing with whoever wants the info.
Ive also shared my email address on the right side bar here. In case you can’t find it, it’s Airlinepilotguide@yahoo.com.
Feel free to drop an email if you need any personal help and are too shy to ask in the comments section. 🙂
Fly high. Cheers ✈️
